sprintOS: My Core Operating System
12 SPRINTS AND ZERO FLUFF
I’m a “time-box it and ship” guy. I believe in sprints - no procrastination, no complicated processes. Each of the ten sprints below has a single goal, a clear output and a ready-to-use starter kit.
Run them in order or jump to the one you need most. Momentum wins. Have fun.
🚀 SPRINT 1: SWEET-SPOT
Focus: Lock in Ikigai (passion × skill × market × cash)
Zero-in on the overlap between your passion, skill, market demand and cash flow. By the end you’ve got a one-page niche so sharp you can pitch it in an elevator ride.
Phase: Ikigai | Time-box: 1 day
Output: Niche one-pager that answers “Why now?”
Starter Kit: Ikigai Canvas • AI prompt to list 20 passion-market overlaps • Market-size Google Sheet
🔍 SPRINT 2: PAIN-HUNTER
Focus: Interview humans, rank the real pains
Get out of your head and into real conversations. You’ll stack interviews, surface the top three pains people actually pay to fix and rank them by severity. No guesswork allowed.
Phase: Design Thinking — Empathise | Time-box: 1 week
Output: Interview-insights doc (top-3 pains)
Starter Kit: Interview script + Miro board • AI prompt to cluster quotes • Otter.ai transcripts
✨SPRINT 3: CLARITY
Focus: Craft a crisp problem statement + HMW question
Turn fuzzy noise into a crystal problem statement and a killer “How Might We” question. This combination keeps every future idea ruthlessly on-target.
Phase: Design Thinking — Define | Time-box: 1 week
Output: Final problem statement + success metrics
Starter Kit: HMW template • Persona snapshot • AI prompt to rewrite the problem in 3 killer one-liners
💡SPRINT 4: IDEA-STORM
Focus: Diverge, then converge on 1–2 winning concepts
Diverge like mad, converge like a sniper. You’ll churn out wild solutions, score them, and walk away with one or two concepts worth prototyping.
Phase: Design Thinking - Ideate | Time-box: 1 week
Output: Prioritised concept board
Starter Kit: Crazy-8s sheet • Idea scorecard • FigJam voting plug-in • AI prompt to generate 10 wild solutions | Winning Product Research |
🛠️ SPRINT 5: PROTOTYPE BLITZ
Focus: Build & test a lo-fi prototype with real users
Build the lo-fi version fast with AI, shove it in front of users and harvest brutal feedback. By the end you know exactly what clicks and what needs killing.
Phase: Design Thinking - Prototype/Test | Time-box: 1 week
Output: User-validated prototype + learning summary
Starter Kit: Figma lo-fi kit • Prototype-test script • AI prompt for usability tasks
📐 SPRINT 6: MVP BLUEPRINT
Focus: Map features, tech stack & release plan
Translate insights into a build plan: user stories, must-have features, tech stack and a sprint schedule. It’s the GPS for your first real product.
Phase: Agile - Plan | Time-box: 1 week
Output: MVP backlog + visual roadmap
Starter Kit: User-story template • Tech-stack decision matrix • Jira/Notion sprint board • AI prompt to turn features into stories
🔧 SPRINT 7: BUILD & BREAK
Focus: Ship the MVP and try to break it internally
Ship the MVP, then try to destroy it before customers can. Internal QA (engage family, friends and fools), bug hunts and quick fixes turn a fragile v0 into something battle-ready.
Phase: Agile - Dev | Time-box: 2 weeks
Output: Working MVP + QA log
Starter Kit: Cypress smoke-test script • GitHub Actions pipeline • Retool / Bubble starters • AI prompt for release notes
🚢 SPRINT 8: LAUNCH & LEARN
Focus: Soft-launch, capture real usage data
Soft-launch to live users, track real data and adjust on the fly. You’ll end with an analytics dashboard and a short list of high-impact improvements.
Phase: Agile - Release | Time-box: 2 weeks
Output: Live MVP + analytics dashboard + key insights
Starter Kit: Launch checklist • GA4 / Fathom board • Typeform post-launch survey • AI prompt for launch email sequence
📈 SPRINT 9: GROWTH-LOOP
Focus: Run 3 traction experiments; measure AARRR
Launch three fast traction tests (e.g. partnership drops, magnetic content, and referral hooks). Then run the results through the AARRR (aka Pirate Metrics funnel). Double-down on the channels that win at each stage, drop whatever doesn’t move the needle.
Phase: Growth Hacking | Time-box: 2 weeks
Output: Channel report + next-step playbook
Starter Kit: Airtable experiment-tracker • Pirate-metrics sheet • AI prompt for FB-ad variations • SparkLoop / Viral Loops widget
⚙️ SPRINT 10: SYSTEMISE
Focus: Automate ops & reporting so you can breathe
Automate the boring stuff - cold emails, content creation & distribution, onboarding, billing, reporting - so the business hums while you sleep. Your automations run in the background, KPI digests land in your mailbox, freeing you from the operational hustle.
Phase: Ops / Scale | Time-box: 1 week
Output: Automation flows + auto-generated KPI reports
Starter Kit: Onboarding SOP • Automation blueprints • KPI report template • AI prompt to summarise KPIs
Run each sprint, ship the output, move on. No sales pitches. No fluff. Just action.
🎯 NEED IT VISUAL? CHECK THE PROCESS MAP
Some brains love a tight list, others want the whole journey in one glance.
If you’re the second type, grab the Visual Sprint Map:
One clean graphic → 10 sprints in a single flow.
Progress tracker: tick off a sprint, watch the line light up.
👉 [Open the Visual Map →] (opens in a new tab so you don’t lose your place)
No scrolling, no hunting.
Just a bird’s-eye view of how you’ll go from Ikigai to a well-oiled Growth Engine.
